When we talk about HIV, we often fail to mention the main risk of contagion: unprotected sex. PrEPARED is a documentary that has the courage to investigate sexual habits without censorship, prejudice or voyeurism. The film is divided into 8 chapters, for 8 different stories: in each one, the topic “sexual freedom” is explored and told from the unique and intimate point of view of the protagonists, and it is always the pretext to talk not only about freedom, but also about the many prevention measures that we’ve got. The result is a socio-cultural portrait which celebrates a consolidated freedom, while bringing out that inseparable bond between sexuality and protection.
